Sometimes I forget, that even though I am the Captain of the ship, there are times to let Fortune's winds fill your sails and deliver you to a new destination. Those are the times of discovery. That is when you find that YOU are the Treasure. The greatest lesson for me has been to know when to steer my vessel or to just unfurl the main sail and ride fearlessly. Staying open to face the unknown without prejudice or judgement. When I find myself struggling to control everything and achieving nothing, I eventually realize the futility of my distress. Only then does a great calm wash over me. Only then can I quiet my mind even in the worst of storms. Only then can I hear, feel, taste, see and release my creative mind. That moment is the true Treasure.
